How To Calculate Ovulation With Irregular Periods

What is Ovulation:

Ovulation is the process in which a matured egg is released from the ovary into the fallopian tube and it usually happens between 13 to 15 days before the start of your period.

The egg stays in the fallopian tube to await fertilization by sperm. If fertilization doesn’t occur after 12 to 24 hours, the egg will begin to deteriorate.

However, if the fertilization of egg and sperm occurs during 12 to 24 hours, a transfer is made to the uterus for 6 to 12 days for possible implantation.
