Steps On How To Cast Off In Knitting

Step 1: Insert your knitting needle, and then knit your first and second stitches

Step 2: Pull the first stitch over the second, after that, your first stitch will be wrapped around your second stitch, pull your second stitch through so that it is the only one on your needle

Step 3: Knit the third row, pull your second stitch over your third stitch, leaving your third stitch alone on your needle

Step 4: Repeat step 1, 2 and 3 until you reach the end of your row

Step 5: When you reach the end, cut the yarn, leaving only a small tail

Step 6: Tighten the tail by pulling it through the last loop on your needle
