If for one reason or the other, you don’t want to check your Airtel data balance via USSD code, website (Airtel self-care service) or via mobile app, you can check via SMS.
To check your Airtel data balance via SMS, follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Dial *141#
Step 2: Enter * to choose the next option
Step 3: Choose 10 to choose the data balance option.
In 2 minutes or less, you will receive an SMS of your data balance.
Alternatively, you can check your Airtel data balance using USSD code, on Airtel’s website (Airtel self-care service) or via mobile app.
In the remaining paragraphs, I will be showing how to check your Airtel data balance using any of the mediums mentioned above.

How To Check Airtel Data Balance Via USSD Code
Using USSD code to check for data balance is the easiest way, it often just requires dialling a one time code and that’s it.
To check your Airtel data balance using USSD code, simply dial *123# and your data balance will be displayed on your mobile screen in no time.

How To Check Airtel Data Balance On Airtel Website
Sometimes, it might be difficult to remember the USSD or SMS code required to check your Airtel data balance, simply follow the steps mentioned below to check your Airtel data balance using on Airtel website:
1. Click here to login into Airtel self-care portal
2. Enter your phone number in the required column
3. And click the “CLICK TO GET ONE TIME PASSWORD (OTP)” column to get your OTP
4. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile phone into the OTP Column
5. Click login
After logging in successfully, you will see your data balance and other information displayed on your screen.

How To Check Airtel Data Balance On The Mobile App
To check your Airtel data balance on the mobile app, simply login to your mobile app and you will see your data balance displayed on your dashboard.

1. On your phone, visit Google Playstore or IOS Appstore as the case may be
2. Search for My Airtel Africa
3. Then, download and install the app
