To check the date of birth and name on your BVN, dial *565*0# with your MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile (Etisalat) or any other telecommunication company registered in Nigeria, copy out your BVN and walk into any of your Bank branches and tell them you want to check the date of birth and name on your BVN.

How to Change pr Edit the Date of Birth on Your BVN
In a situation where you entered the wrong date of birth during the registration process, the wise thing to do is to change it in order to prevent future problems.
To change the date of birth on your BVN, simply walk into any of your bank branches with your BVN and your birth certificate, then inform the available customer care agent what you want to do.
