1. 1 cup sea salt (coarse, fine or maldon)
2. Madagascar vanilla beans
3. Mortar and pestle
4. Glass jar or container

How To Make Vanilla Salt: Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Place the sea salt in a mortar and pestle.
2. Split and remove the vanilla bean seeds (caviar) from four vanilla beans.
3. Add the vanilla bean caviar to the salt.
4. Grind the vanilla bean caviar into the salt with the pestle until the beans are dispersed throughout the salt.
5. Place the salt in sealed glass containers and leave them undisturbed for 1 week, the flavour of the vanilla beans will permeate the salt, resulting in a more flavorful result.
