There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes when it comes to creating content for a blog or YouTube, and it is only reasonable to make some money from it.
Receiving payment from Google Adsense is more than just a paycheck; it is a recognition of the time and work you have put into developing your content generating abilities.
However, how people feel about the money they receive from Google Adsense varies; some are happy with it and hope to earn more, while others believe they deserve more.
As a creator, you should be aware that CPC (Cost per Click) is the most important component in determining revenue. But we’re not here to talk about that today; we’re here to find out how to receive Adsense payments in Nigeria.

The following are the prerequisites for withdrawing Adsense earnings:
• You must have a website (blog) or YouTube page
• You must create an Adsense account
• Your Adsense account must be approved
• You must submit your means of identification
• You must verify your address
• You must reach or exceed the $100 minimum withdrawal threshold
Once all 6 prerequisites mentioned above have been met, then you’re on a roll. Let’s move on to the section where the payment is received.

Google Adsense: Form of Payment
At this junction, you’ll be required to select your form of payment. As a Nigerian creator domiciled in Nigeria, there are only 2 payment options available and they are
1. Check
2. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Check:
All check Adsense payments are issued by Citibank; however, it is critical to verify with your bank to see if they have a correspondent relationship with Citibank, as this is required in order to process your payment. Please bear in mind that Google AdSense checks can only be deposited and not cashed.
When employing this method, there are two drawbacks. The first is that different banks often take varying amounts of time to clear any check, and the second is the wait in receiving your check. I’m sure it took you 4 to 6 weeks to get your Adsense PIN, right? As a result, when you receive your check, you should expect the same.
If you’ll love to receive your Adsense payment via check, simply do the following
• Log into your Adsense account.
• Click “Payment”.
• Locate and click the “Add payment method” button positioned directly under the “How you get paid” text.
• Click “Add new cheque details”.
• Fill in the required field and click the save button.

You do not need to have a domiciliary account to receive this type of payment because it can be deposited directly into your savings account. If you wish to receive your funds in USD, you can only open one.
