The First Bank student account is a bank account specially designed for students of tertiary universities and polytechnics in Nigeria. It gives these students the freedom to bank with less or no bank charges until they become graduates.

As much as the account was specially created for students, it still has guidelines governing its operation. One of which is that only students that are of the age 16 years and above can open this account.

The other requirements needed to open this account can be seen below.

• One recent clear passport photograph of the signatory

• Valid School Identity Card

• Admission Letter

• National Identification Number Card/NIN

• Details of Parents/Guardian

Account Balance Limit on First Bank Student Account

Like I mentioned earlier that the First Bank student account has rules governing it’s operation, the account balance limit is also one.

Because this account was created for students which are believed to depend solely on their parents for survival, First Bank pegged the maximum account balance limit for such account at ₦300,000 and its maximum deposit limit to ₦50,000.
