Spotify gives you access to music from all over the world and has an intelligent algorithm that makes similar recommendations based on your recently played tracks. However, there is one minor disadvantage. Despite the flexible algorithm, users are still unable to change their Spotify username.
You cannot change your Spotify username on the app because it is designed to identify your account on its server. Spotify accounts, like humans, have unique usernames to organize and remember, which is why there is no option to change them.
Fortunately, if you created your account prior to the update, you most likely have a unique and memorable username, depending on how you signed up. There are, however, third-party apps that can assist with this. Follow the steps mentioned below to get started.
