The First Bank Mobile App is a mobile banking application developed by First Bank of Nigeria Limited. The app allows customers to perform various banking transactions using their mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.
Some of the features and functionalities offered by the First Bank Mobile App include checking account balances, viewing transaction histories, transferring money between accounts, paying bills, buying airtime and data, and managing credit card accounts.
Despite all of the good stuff you could do on the mobile app, there are several reasons why a person might want to deactivate their mobile app, such as:
1. Security concerns: A person might deactivate their mobile app if they are concerned about the security of their personal and financial information. For example, if they lose their device, they might want to deactivate the app to prevent unauthorized access to their bank account.
2. Changing banks: If a person decides to switch to a different bank, they might want to deactivate the mobile app associated with their old bank account.
3. Not using the app: A person might deactivate the mobile app if they find that they no longer use it or prefer to use other means of accessing their bank account.
4. Technical issues: If a person experiences technical issues with the mobile app, they might choose to deactivate it until the issues are resolved.
5. Privacy concerns: A person might choose to deactivate the mobile app if they are concerned about the privacy of their personal information or do not want their data to be collected by the app.
6. Account closure: If a person decides to close their bank account, they might also choose to deactivate the mobile app associated with the account.
It’s important to note that deactivating a mobile app does not necessarily close the associated bank account, and the account holder may need to follow additional steps to close their account if that is what they wish to do.
