1. Restart Your Internet Connection
Even if your internet connection is functional, the “This site can’t be reached” error message may appear if there is a problem with it. Restarting the router allows it to cool down and flush its memory.
Unplug the router and modem for at least 30 seconds. The 30 second wait time allows the devices to cool down while also informing your ISP, computers, and other devices that the router and modem are unavailable. Insert the modem and wait at least 60 seconds. After that, connect the router and wait at least 2 minutes. Check to see if the error has been resolved after restarting the router and modem.

2. Disable Your Firewall and Antivirus
In many cases, your operating system’s (OS) built-in firewall — or whatever software you use — can aggressively block pages and prevent your computer from connecting to them. 3. Clear Your Browser Cache
Browsers have improved over time, but no software is perfect. There are numerous ways that a browser’s settings or cache can prevent it from functioning properly. Clear your history, cookies, and cache first, then restart Google Chrome and revisit the page.

4. Flush Your DNS Cache
Your operating system saves a lot of information from websites you visit. It also caches their IP addresses in the “DNS cache.” This saves your browser from having to look up the same IP addresses through its DNS server every time you want to connect.
Because it is stored in RAM — volatile memory — rather than on your hard drive, your PC’s DNS Cache should be reset every time your computer restarts. The DNS cache may have been corrupted by accident due to a bug or problem with the DNS Server you use, or it may have been deliberately poisoned. You’ll need to “flush” or reset your DNS cache in that case.

5. Change Your DNS Servers
Your ISP will assign DNS servers to your connection automatically. You can, however, set your internet settings to use a specific set of DNS servers.
Switching from one DNS server to another is completely safe and will not harm your computer or device. However, make certain that you are switching to a known and reliable server.
Your internet connection should continue to function normally, but the “This site can’t be reached” error should be gone.
