How To Prepare Chicken Sauce With Corn Flour

Chicken sauce has come to stay as one of the most delicious dishes we have ever tried out.

The yummy spice a well-cooked chicken sauce has cannot go unnoticed when consumed.

Making your chicken sauce with corn flour is very easy and I will be teaching you how to go about it in the rest of this article.

Ingredients Needed:

1. Chicken

2. Corn flour

3. Groundnut oil

4. Seasoning cube (Maggi)

5. Salt

6. Garlic

7. Ginger

8. Carrot

9. Onions

10. Egg

11. Ketchup

12. Chilli pepper (sobo)

14. Tomato

13. Scotch bonnet (rodo)

Kitchen Items Needed:

1. Bowl

2. Gas or stove

3. Sauce or frying pan

4. Chopping board

5. Knife

6. Spoon

7. Water

Steps On How To Make Chicken Sauce With Corn Flour

1. Firstly cut your chicken into smaller pieces and rinse thoroughly

2. Pour your clean chicken in a bowl

3. Add seasoning cube (maggi), garlic, salt, ginger, thyme, curry and smaller pieces of scotch bonnet (rodo) into the bowl of chicken

4. Cover the bowl of chicken and leave for few hours for the chicken to marinate properly

5. Then wash all your carrots and pepper thoroughly to remove

6. Scrap the outer part of your carrot

7. Chop your carrot into dice sizes

8. Cut your pepper (green, tomato and chilli) vertically

9. Pour few spoons of corn flour into another bowl

10. Break some raw egg and pour it into the bowl with corn flour

11. Stir the corn flour and egg properly

12. Then pour in your marinated chicken and stir

13. Lit your gas or stove

14. Place your clean sauce or frying pan on your gas or stove and dry out any drop of water present in it

15. Pour in some vegetable oil and heat on low to medium heat

16. Pour your sliced onions and fry

17. Stir until the chicken pieces are all fried

18. Pour your chopped pepper and carrot into the sauce or frying pan

19. Add some ketchup

20. Continue to stir for few mins

21. When you see your chicken is coated with all the ingredients in the sauce or frying pan, then put off the heat

Your chicken sauce is ready to be served.
