How To Transfer Data On 9mobile (Etisalat)

Data sharing has become a norm, most people prefer to transfer or share data than put on their hotspot and allow someone else to tap internet access from it.

Like other telecommunication companies, 9mobile (Etisalat) also adopted the data sharing package.

This innovation allows 9mobile (Etisalat) users to share, transfer or gift their loved ones data bundles and I will be guiding you on how to go about it in the section below.

How To Gift, Share & Transfer Data Bundle On 9mobile (Etisalat) 

Before you are can share data bundles, you first have to create a 4 digit PIN.

To create the PIN, simply dial *247*default pin*new pin#. Example *247*0000*1212#.
0000 is the default pin for all 9mobile (Etisalat) users and 1212 is my new pin (use any 4 digit number that you can easily remember).

After creating the pin, the next thing to do is to choose from 9mobile (Etisalat) various your data option which are:

1. 9mobile family share data plan

2. 9mobile data transfer

3. 9mobile data gifting

4. 9mobile multi-device data plan

9mobile family share data plan:

As the name implies, this plan is mainly for your family members; it allows you to allocate some part of your existing data bundle to 1 to 5 9mobile (Etisalat) users.

Also, unused data allocated to family members can be regained or claimed back.

To activate, dial *229*9*your pin*data amount in MB or GB*recipient’s number#.

9mobile data transfer:

This is more of a general data transfer plan, it allows you to transfer data to ANY 9mobile (Etisalat) user, either friend, family or foe.

The maximum amount of transferable data at a time is 200MB, also, the maximum amount of data that can be transferred in a day is 1000MB.

To activate, dial *229*pin*volume of MB*recipient’s number#. For example, *229*1212*40*08197651163#

9mobile data gifting:

Want to surprise someone with data bundle, this is the ideal plan for you.

This allows you to gift your loved ones with data bundle while getting charged from your existing data bundle.

To activate, dial *data plan code*recipient’s number#.

Data plan code means the code to subscribe for the particular amount of data you want to share, for example, the code for 1GB is *229*2*7, which means I will dial *229*2*7*recipient’s number#.

9mobile multi-device data plan:

This is for people with different data-enabled devices, all you have to do is to the phone numbers of the other devices to the phone number is loaded with data.

You can add up to 4 phone numbers.

To activate, dial *215*pin*1*recipient’s number*new puk#.
For subsequent SIM, replace ‘1’ with ‘2’, ‘3’ or ‘4’.
