How to Unshare Data on Glo (2023 Updated)

Sharing your data bundle with someone, maybe a friend or family is a commendable act of generosity.

But what happens when the person your data bundle is shared with consumes it excessively.

You are faced with unmeasured data consumption as you cannot allocate a particular amount of data to be consumed by the person you’re sharing with.

The way out of this is to take the person out of your shared data list.

In this article, I will guide you on how to unshare your Glo data.

How To Unshare Glo Data

To unshare your Glo data, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Dial *777#

Step 2: Choose 1 (Buy data)

Step 3: Choose 4 (Select data plan)

Step 4: Choose 2 (Unshare)

Step 5: Enter the phone number of the person you want to unshare your GLO data with

Step 6: Press send or ok

How to Remove a Phone Number From Your Glo Data Sharing List

After unsharing your Glo data with your friend or family, you might want to remove their phone number totally from your sharing list.

There are two (2) ways in which that can be done, via SMS and USSD code.

For SMS:

Send “Remove (phone number of the person you want to remove from your Glo sharing list)” to 127, for example, “Remove 08160005556” to 127.

For USSD code:

Dial *127*02*(Phone number of the person you want to remove from your Glo sharing list)#, for example, *127*02*08160005556#.

How to Check/Know the Numbers you are Sharing Your Glo Data With 

Just in case you have forgotten the people you shared your Glo data with and you wish to know, follow the two (2) ways mentioned below:

Dial *127*00# or send List to 127.

With this, the phone numbers you shared your data with will be displayed on your mobile phone screen.

To identify the name, simply check your phone contact for the phone number that corresponds or enter the phone number into the Truecaller app to check.
