How to Activate UBA USSD Banking
To activate UBA USSD banking, follow the steps below:
1. Dial *919# on the mobile phone number that is linked to your UBA account.
2. Select “7” (Next) from the menu options.
3. Select “1” (Register).
4. Enter your UBA account number and select “send”.
5. You will receive a prompt asking you to input your UBA ATM card number, expiry date and 4-digit PIN.
6. Once you have entered your card details, you will be prompted to create a new 4-digit USSD PIN.
7. Create your USSD PIN and confirm it.
8. Your registration is now complete, and you can start using the UBA USSD banking service.
Note that you must have a mobile phone number that is linked to your UBA account and an active UBA ATM card to activate UBA USSD banking. Also, ensure that you keep your USSD PIN secure and do not share it with anyone.

How to Transfer Money using UBA USSD Code
To transfer money from your UBA account without an ATM card, you can use the UBA mobile banking code which is *919#.
Here’s how to transfer money using the UBA mobile banking code:
Step 1: Dial *919# on the mobile phone number that is linked to your UBA account.
Step 2: Select “4” (Transfer).
Step 3: Select the account you want to transfer from.
Step 4: Enter the account number of the recipient.
Step 5: Select the bank of the recipient.
Step 6: Enter the amount you want to transfer.
Step 7: Enter your PIN or the last 4 digits of your debit card.
Step 8: Confirm the transaction.
Please keep in mind that there may be limits to the amount you can transfer using this method. For example, a fund transfer transaction is currently limited to ₦1 million; however, you must obtain a bank token to reach that limit. Transactions involving small amounts of money, such as ₦100,000 or less, may not necessitate the use of a token.
