Zobo drink is a very popular drink in Nigeria, especially in the Northern region.
Asides from its sweet taste, its profound impact in boosting fertility in both men and women also contributed to the large number of people drinking it.
The process involved in making zobo is quite easy, almost everyone has knowledge on how to go about the making process, but not everyone knows how to make zobo thick.
In this article, I will not only teach you how to make zobo, rather I’ll teach you how to make your zobo drink thick and very sweet.

Ingredients & Kitchen Tools Needed
1. Dry zobo leaves
2. Garlic
3. Pineapple
4. Garlic
5. Ginger
6. Strainer
7. Beetroot
8. Mango
9. Orange
10. Pot
11. Spoon
12. Gas or stove
13. Spoon
14. Blender or juicer

Steps on How to Make Zobo Drink Thick
1. Rinse your zobo leaves with water to remove dust or dirt
2. Transfer your rinsed zobo leaves into a clean pot
3. Pour a sufficient amount of water into the pot
4. Lit your gas or stove and place your pot on it
5. Add garlic and ginger
6. Cover the pot and leave to boil for 45 minutes (the longer it boils, the thicker it becomes)
7. After 45 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to cool
8. While waiting for it to cool, rinse your fruits (pineapple, orange, beetroot and mango)
9. Transfer your fruits to a blender to blend or use a juicer to extract the juice from your fruits
10. If you used a blender to blend your fruits, strain with a strainer to remove the shaft and set aside
11. Once the mixture in your pot cools, transfer it to a strainer and strain to remove the zobo leaves
12. Then pour the juiced fruits into the boiled mixture and stir
13. Add sugar for taste
14. Transfer into a storage jar and refrigerate
15. Then serve and drink
