Checking your FCMB account balance is quite easy, there are other ways you can do this without stepping out of your house and I will be mentioning them in this article.

Before you can check your FCMB account balance, you first have to activate FCMB mobile banking; in case you haven’t done that, see the next section for guidelines on how to go about it.

Steps on How to Activate FCMB Mobile Banking

Step 1: Dial *389*214#
You will receive a message from FCMB carrying menu options: Activate with card, Activate with Account and Activate with Mwallet

Step 2: Choose option 2 which is Activate with Account

Step 3: Then enter your account number and send
You will receive a message from FCMB saying “congratulations, you have been successfully synchronized”

Step 4: After that, dial *389*214#

Step 5: Choose the security option

Step 6: Select change pin

Step 7: Enter your default pin

Step 8: Then enter your new pin (should be a 4 digits number)

Congratulations, you have activated FCMB mobile banking.

Ways to Check your FCMB Account Balance

Digitally, there are 3 ways you can use to check your FCMB account balance and they are:

1. USSD code

2. Mobile application

3. Internet banking

How to Check your FCMB Account Balance with USSD Code

To check your FCMB account balance, simply dial *329*00# with the sim card linked to your bank account, then enter your USSD banking pin or the last 4 digits on your debit card to confirm.

You will get an SMS showing your account balance.

Note that checking your FCMB account balance with USSD code is not free of charge, it attracts small naira.
