Wikipedia defines a voicemail system (also known as a voice message or voice bank) as a computer-based system that allows users and subscribers to exchange personal voice messages over a phone.
A voicemail is also used to select and deliver voice information, process transactions relating to individuals, organizations, products, and services.
Setting up a voicemail on an iPhone is quite easy; I will be guiding you on how to go about it in the section below.

Instruction On How To Set Up Voicemail On iPhone
Step 1: Open the phone app on your iPhone
Step 2: Tap the “Voicemail” button positioned at the bottom right of your screen
Step 3: Click the “Set Up Now” button positioned at the center of your screen
Step 4: Enter your preferred choice of password
Step 5: Re-enter your chosen password for confirmation
Step 6: Tap the “Done” button

Step 7: If you would like to use Apple’s default prerecorded message, tap the “Default” button and if you a personalized message, tap the “Custom” button
Step 8: If you choose to use Apple’s default prerecorded message and you already tapped “Default as mentioned in step 7, simply tap the “Done” button to save your settings; but if you clicked on “Custom” for your personalized message, see step 9 for further instruction
Step 9: Tap the “Record” button to record your message, click stop once you are done recording and click play to listen to your recording. You can try as much as possible until you get your desired result, just click the “Record button again if you want to delete the previous recording and record another one.
Step 10: Once you are satisfied with your recording, tap the “Save” button positioned at the top right of your screen
