How to Create Apple ID on iPhone or iPad

An Apple ID is an account that is used to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more.

Your Apple ID is made up of your sign-in email address and a password that you must keep track of. It comprises all of your important data, including personal information and device content. 

In basic terms, it verifies your identity and allows you to interact with Apple’s hardware, software, and services in a seamless and convenient manner.

You may use iCloud to back up your images and files, purchase apps from the App Store and Apple Store, and track your Apple device. All of the sensitive information stored on your devices could be disclosed or stolen if someone gains access to your Apple ID account. As a result, you’ll have to keep your credentials to yourself.

Steps on How to Create Apple ID on iPhone or iPad

Step 1: Launch the Settings app.

Step 2: Click the “Sign in to your iPhone” button positioned at the top of your screen.

Step 3: Click the “Don’t have an Apple ID or forgot it” button.

Step 4: On the next window, click “Apple ID”.

Step 5: Enter your Firstname and last name.

Step 6: Then, select your date of birth.

Step 7: Click the “Next” button.

Step 8: Enter the email address you want to use or get a new iCloud email address by tapping the “Don’t have an email address?” button.

Step 9: Click the toggle for choose whether you want to get Apple News & Announcements, leave it blank of otherwise.

Step 10: Then, click the “Next” button.

Step 11: Enter your preferred choice of password and re-enter it for verification purpose.

Step 12: Click the “Next” button.

Step 13: Enter your phone number and select whether you want to receive a text message or phone call for identity verification purpose.

Step 14: Click the “Next” button.

Step 15: Enter the verification code that was sent to you.

Step 16: Click the “Next” button.

Step 17: Click the “Agree” button to consent to the Terms and Conditions.

Step 18: Click “Agree” again to confirm your consent

Congratulations, you have successfully created an Apple ID for your device.
