The United Bank of Africa has several mobile transfer means which are USSD code, internet banking and mobile app.
To carry out transactions via any of these means, you need to activate your UBA transfer code.

Requirements Needed To Activate UBA Transfer Code
To successfully activate your UBA transfer code, you need the following:
1. A UBA account
2. UBA debit or prepaid card
3. A mobile phone
4. An active phone number

Steps On How To Activate UBA Transfer Code
Step 1: Dial *919# from your registered mobile number.
Step 2: A welcome message with options will appear on your phone screen. select option 1 which says “sign up for the UBA USSD code” then send
Step 3: Next, 2 options which are “prepaid with pin” and “account with pin” will appear on your phone screen, select prepaid with pin if you are a UBA prepaid subscriber and if not, select account with pin
Step 4: Enter your 10 digit account number
Step 5: Then enter the last 4 digits on your UBA debit card
Step 6: If you have a referral ID, enter it and if you don’t go ahead
Step 7: Now, enter your preferred 4 digit
Step 8: Re-enter your 4 digit pin to confirm the pin for your mobile transfer
